Lancaster painter , Charles Demuth describes a certain color red as " the last mad throb of red before it turns green ." Color is the first connection that I make between the materials that I have collected. My collages and mixed media works are formed through color associations and,as the work progresses , through shapes and  textures  until the narrative emerges.
